サンリオキャラクターパーク ハーモニーランドは、「おんせん県おおいた」で知られる大分県の日出町（ひじまち）にあります。その日出町にあるJR暘谷駅（ようこくえき）がリニューアルし、それを記念して2016年8月19日に記念式典とハローキティの一日駅長イベントが行われました。
